Welcome to the New Mexico History Museum Media Kit.

We created these materials to help you excavate for information, story angles and images for the New Mexico History Museum and all the stories it contains.

In addition, our staff is available to answer questions, arrange interviews or provide specific materials. We offer a wealth of still images, audio and video for your use. We welcome visits from the media to tour the museum facilities, and we encourage you to join a hardhat tour to observe the evolving construction and preview how the new museum will look and feel.

Expect frequent updates from now through the New Mexico History Museum’s Grand Opening on Memorial Day Weekend 2009—and in the years to come. There will be much to tell as construction and installation progress. Story ideas related to the museum itself, and the New Mexico history stories to be told within, are virtually limitless.
